Orbis Electric has developed a patent-protected, industry-tested, in-wheel EV motor and brake technology with unmatched cost savings, energy efficiency, and emissions compliance, delivering a comprehensive solution for today’s EV and Hybrid consumers, manufacturers, and market strategies.

The Orbis Electric in-wheel motor produces up to 560 horsepower and offers instantaneous torque at the wheel. Weighing a mere 65 pounds including the brake assembly - less than a conventional wheel in some cases - this technology can improve the range of EVs by as much as 35%. with zero unsprung weight penalty.

The system runs on 400V, and can charge anywhere, and light duty vehicles require no more than household current to recharge.

In-Wheel Motor

We reimagined the single motor architecture of conventional Internal Combustion Engines (ICE), distributing the power and weight across 2-4 in-wheel motorized spindle inserts. Our EV in a Box will be able to convert any ICE into a Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle (PHEV) or Battery EV (BEV) in under 3 hours transforming an existing internal combustion vehicle to an EV with little more than a trip to Jiffy Lube.

Ring Brake- ECOWAVE™

An integral part of the Orbis In-Wheel motor assembly, the hyper-efficient Orbis EcoWave Ring Brake also operates as a freestanding brake, providing a lighter, cooler, safer, and greener alternative to traditional brakes.

Bolt-on EV Conversion

Patent protected kit converts virtually any internal combustion vehicle into a PHEV/BEV in as little as three hours.

EV in a Box conversions will be available through franchised service providers, automotive retailers, and directly to consumers. A “Your Car/Our Parts” strategy will allow a re-birth of any car on the road – or in a garage – including classic and collectors vehicles.
