2023-2025 ongoing with Volkswagen Innovation Group Orbis Electric and Volkswagen are engaged in a proof-of-concept co-developing Orbis Electrics lightweight, high-efficiency, improved range in-wheel powertrain for OEM solutions with Volkswagen brands. The first BEV delivery is a 750hp / 559kW (peak) all-wheel drive with zero unsprung weight penalty with no alteration in wheel offset or suspension geometry was complete August 2024

2025 ongoing with Wabash Electric Transportation Refrigeration Unit (eTRU) Orbis Electric and Wabash National are engaged to test and validate the conversion of diesel transport refrigeration units to electric.

2023-2024 Orbis Electric contracted to equip delivery trucks for North American fleet leader. Wabash evaluated an Orbis Electric RetroFit PHEV System and observed a fuel economy improvement exceeding 40%.

2023-2025 Orbis Electric motors powered deliveries in Mexico City as part of a NET ZERO initiative to lower the cost of carbon reducing technologies in LATAM fleets.

2025 ongoing. After a 3-year evaluation process, OE was selected to repower the only remaining operating GM EV-1 outside the Smithsonian. The process will be documented in the upcoming movie, “The Rise of the Electric Car” which is the sequel to "Who Killed the Electric Car”.

2022-ongoing. PHEV /BEV Conversion for Specialty Cars. OE has converted a number of specialty cars into plug-in hybrids (PHEVs), including a  1966 classic Land Rover, a McLaren, a 2017 Honda Type R, a GM EV1 (ongoing), and a recently commissioned 2014 Porsche Boxster.

This diverse lineup of vehicles showcases and is validation for selling manufacturing licenses to high-performance and high-end aftermarket brands.
